Safran Aircraft Engines designs, produces, and sells, alone or in partnership, commercial and military aircraft engines offering world-class performance. Safran Aerospace Composites in Rochester, NH is dedicated to the production of 3D woven composite parts, made using the RTM (resin transfer molding) process. The first application of this technology is the production of blades and fan cases for the LEAP (registered tradespan) engine, developed by CFM International, designed to power the next generation of single-aisle aircraft. Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safe, quality, and timely electrical repair and preventive maintenance of various types of industrial equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, CMM machines, paint booth equipment, Tomograph equipment, UT equipment, and automated sandblaster equipment. The Maintenance Technician must work well both with others and independently to minimize downtime on production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

This is a second shift positon, Monday – Thursday, 3:15pm – 1:15am, and includes a 10 shift differential.
Job Requirements:

Job Specifications
1.\tHigh school diploma or equivalent
2.\tStrong industrial electrical knowledge and moderate mechanical aptitude with 6+ years of relatable experience preferred, primarily in a manufacturing setting.
3.\tAdvanced PLC knowledge, Siemens step 7 300 preferred
4.\tUnderstanding of servo systems and NC style equipment preferred
5.\tExperience with CNC machine maintenance preferred
6.\tAbility to interpret electrical and other equipment schematics and use hand-held measuring equipment.
7.\tStrong computer background to be able to assist OEM's in online machine diagnostics
8.\tProficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Working Conditions
1.\tLighting and temperature are adequate, outside work can be required.
2.\tWalking or standing over 50% of the time; frequently required to reach with hands and arms; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle and feel; required to see, talk and hear
3.\tAbility to lift up to 35 pounds, approximately 20% of a standard work day; may be required to lift in excess of 35 pounds with assistance
4.\tEye protection must be worn in manufacturing areas, approximately 90% of a standard workday.
5.\tEar protection must be worn during certain operations, approximately 10% of a standard workday.
6.\tSafety footwear must be worn in all manufacturing areas, approximately 90% of a standard work day.
