ABOUT THE ROLE

CAD Modeling & Drawing

Ansys Workbench - Simulation and Analysis of mechanical loads (static, fatigue, vibration, etc.)

Design Engineering, Sizing, & Solutions

Customer Requirements Interpretation

GD&T and Tolerance Studies

Python - Root Solving, Systems of Equations

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Must Have

A Co-Op / Internship experience is a plus.

Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

Demonstrated experience with CAD design tools (Siemens NX (preferred), SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Pro-E or similar)

 Demonstrated experience with finite element analysis tools (ANSYS workbench, Abaqus, Autodesk Simulation, CosmosWorks or similar)

Demonstrated experience with computer programming for engineering applications ((Python, MATLAB or similar)

Demonstrated experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning

Demonstrated extra-curricular/leadership experience.

Experience with metal machining, fabrication, and/or welding is a plus

Experience with assembly, repair, and/or inspection of mechanical systems is a plus

GPA of 3.0 of higher is a plus.
