LOCAL/NON LOCAL Mechanical Fitters
Please note whilst we expect the roles to be operating on a 3 on 4 off shift – we cannot guarantee this.
Please also note, applicants MUST be able to present copies of Apprenticeship paperwork from the business they served their time with or NVQ Level 3. (Letters from the business will be acceptable/Modern apprenticeship).
There are a variety of machinist work available therefore roles will be assigned to skillset of the applicant.
Pay rates:
PAYE or Umbrella Only
NON-LOCAL
3 on 4 off days - 30.13 plus 4.38 Holiday pay per hour / 39.06 Umbrella

Use of CAD / CAM applications

Prepare raw mateirals for machine use
Load material onto machine
Check / maintain machinery for functionality
Waste management
Manual handling
Knowledge of checks, adaptors, bushes etc.
Material holding arrangements
Marking off
Awareness of Dreadnought cleanliness and material segregation requirements
