Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated NDT Trainee to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. This is a training position of 8 to 12 months to become a Nondestructive Test Inspector in the Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspection methods. Perform Nondestructive testing activities to prepare for other NDT Levels. Work under the direction of The Responsible NDT Level 3.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from drawings, specifications, work orders and general instructions, will perform non-destructive test inspections on a variety of aerospace parts.
- Set up and monitor equipment and related gages.
- Records inspection reports, issue rejection documentation and maintain records, data, logs, etc.
- Evaluate Interpret and document inspection results in accordance with written procedures and customer specifications.
- Develop written instructions from approved general procedures.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
- Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes.
- Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High School / GED or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 0-1+ year working in a manufacturing environment.
