Kenn Borek Air (KBA)is a diversified worldwide aircraft charter and leasing operation. KBA is currently seeking a highly skilled individual for the role of Person Responsible for Quality Assurance-Maintenance.
The Person Responsible for Quality Assurance-Maintenance reports directly to the Director of Technical Services (PRM) and is responsible for establishing and maintaining a quality assurance program as set out in CAR 573.03 and 573.04.
The Person Responsible for Quality Assurance-Maintenance must have demonstrated knowledge of KBA’s AMO, AOC, and Manufacturing activities.
- Planning and controlling all quality assurance functions
- Liaise with Transport Canada Civil Aviation
- Provide leadership to quality assurance staff
- Create, maintain and amend the company’s Quality Assurance Manual
- Review and approve Vendors and Suppliers providing aeronautical products and services to KBA
- Development, maintenance, and compliance of the audit schedule
- Conduct QA evaluations or audits on all aspects of the organizations policies and processes
- Ensure that there is a high standard of workmanship and training
- Conduct SMS investigations, review CAPS and follow up for effectiveness
- Participate and provide expertise to the Flight Safety Committee
- Maintain control of all documents in the Maintenance library
