* Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate’s +2 years of related work, Bachelor's, etc.).
* A minimum of 4 or more years of related experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, or repair.
* Experience with V-22 Maintenance/Modifications.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Ability to travel (30%).

* Extensive depot-level modification experience Job Duties & Functions
* Independently assembles, disassembles, and repairs aerospace assemblies by changing, removing, and replacing components using aerospace maintenance practices and product specifications.
* Removes and replaces components for repair, replacement, or testing to support product serviceability.
* Resolves routine problems during operation, maintenance, and overhaul of aerospace products.
* Coordinates assembly, disassembly, and overhaul functions to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and completeness of maintenance activities.
* Performs routine and complex functional and diagnostic tests on aerospace systems using monitoring instruments and automated test equipment.
* Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure serviceability.
* Solves mechanical and electrical faults using established fault isolation procedures.
* Documents repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
* Verifies detailed instructions and procedures for the modification, repair, and testing of assemblies and assists engineering with discrepancies.
* Identifies discrepancies with parts and assists with reconciliation and corrective actions.
* Visually inspects components before installation to verify cleanliness and serviceability.
* Performs aircraft modifications and ensures accuracy and completeness of product modification activities. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work is performed onsite at a military installation supporting aircraft maintenance and modification activities.
* Position may require travel up to 30% to support modification sites and military bases.
