QC Inspector ITulsa, OK
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures, and instructions, and other related documents.
- Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structures and systems.
- Verify functional operations and perform final inspections.
- Inspect for FOD and verify paperwork.
- Witness, verify, and document specified manufacturing process steps.
- Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA-approved procedures.
- Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and equipment.
- Conduct work in a manner that enhances own/other employees health and safety, product safety, and promotes risk reduction.
- Participate openly in safety-related event investigations, and immediately report workplace hazards and make suggestions for control.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel.
- Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Working knowledge of shop mathematics.
- Competency in CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Proficiency in the use of basic shop tools and equipment.
- Quality inspection experience (one year) or two years of GAC manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Completion of a formal inspection training program within 90 days of assignment.
- Two years of manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience preferred.
- Knowledge of composite bonding, quality inspection, QC, and quality assurance.
Requires openness to 1st or 2nd Shift. Shift details are as follows: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3:30pm2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 1:30am.Pay : $32.19 Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19
