Job Title: RS - Aircraft MechanicJob Description
As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft in the completions group, production, and service center. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate with MTL, STM, and the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
- Properly complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with shift turnovers as needed.
- Ensure all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
- Properly identify and store customer property and equipment securely and safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment.
- Coordinate, accomplish, and assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
- Provide training to less experienced technicians.
- Protect customer property (PTP).
Required Skills- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
- 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid/large size aircraft.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in aviation maintenance, including fixed wing or rotary wing.
- Skilled in phase maintenance, troubleshooting, heavy maintenance, and aircraft repair.
- Must be open to working any shift (days, nights, weekends).
- Honorable military discharge (if applicable), with a copy of DD214.
- No history of failed drug tests.
