Summary:
Reliability test technician will be responsible for the troubleshooting and implementation of the corrective actions needed to maintain the airworthiness of the Air Cooled Generators components upon customer complaints and internal/external test failures.
Additionally, will perform similar duties for the 787 batteries and shipset components for that fleet
The above-indicted responsibilities will be in addition of supporting the repair and maintenance activities of the MRO value stream for the same product lines.
This role will also analyze product performance through the proper documented procedures and requirements of complex aircraft components for above indicated product lines. It will assist with the verification of final assemblies in accordance with the applicable specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•tAssists supervisors and engineering in troubleshooting/resolving test failures. Maintains various production and test equipment.
•tPerform repetitive testing, confirm in process inspection operations with minimum instructions and complete all associated test paperwork required. This included but not limited to functional/dynamic testing and benchtop testing methods.
•tAble to plan and organize the work to be done based on priorities, complexity, and/or corrective action work scope.
•tAble to read and interpret electrical and mechanical systems, drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
•tEvaluates repairs instructions and capabilities evaluations to support the expansion of the MRO product catalog for the Air Cooled Generators and 787 articles product lines.
•tSupport engineering in the creation, correction, and maintenance of repair capabilities and test procedures.
•tPerform repair, maintenance, and overhaul activities as declare in the repair stations manual and in alignment with Safran Quality Management System
•tMaintains a clean and organized work area to a 6S standard.
•tRegular, predictable attendance is required.
•tMust be willing to work overtime as necessary.

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
•\tProficiency on electrical/electronic principles including ohm's law and DC operations of rotating machines.
•\tUnderstanding of EASE/FAA Part 145 operational and quality requirements.
Education and/or Experience
•\tHigh School Diploma or higher (Associate's degree preferred)
•\t10 years of experience as technician or maintenance personnel for air-cooled generators and high power distribution components for aircraft platforms.
Knowledge/Skills
•\tAbility to Read, Write and understand English.
•\tProficient in writing reports for quality
•\tAbove average ability to troubleshoot complex mechanisms
•\tAbove average ability to read and comprehend detailed technical drawings and maintenance instructions
•\tAble to learn how to perform new tasks quickly
