Robinson R44 Temporary Aircraft Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and reliable temporary Aircraft Mechanic with expertise in Robinson R44 helicopters to assist us in completing a “12-year Inspection.” This role is crucial for maintaining and servicing our fleet of Robinson R44 helicopters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Robinson R44 and be able to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently. Previous knowledge of the “12-year Inspection” is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Robinson R44 helicopters in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, rotor, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and report any significant issues or concerns. (English or Spanish)

• Valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Proven experience with Robinson R44 helicopters, including maintenance, repair, and inspections.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Must have own tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar temporary or contract role.
• Additional certifications or training related to Robinson R44 or similar aircraft.
