Sheet Metal Mechanic

Seeking a skilled Aircraft Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements. Responsibilities include building and repairing sheet metal and composite structures, reading and interpreting blueprints, aircraft drawings, Maintenance Manuals, and Installation Manuals. Additional duties involve disassembling and reassembling aircraft panels, installing kits, inspecting parts for serviceability, and assisting other departments as needed. The role may require road trips.

Hard Skills

• Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and aircraft drawings
• Skill in building and repairing sheet metal and composite structures
• Experience with Bell helicopters and Airbus

• Ability to assist across departments
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large hangar environment with a team of 45 employees.
