Skilled Welder (TIG) (PIK)

Location: Glasgow Prestwick International Airport

Duties Include:

•Tig weld thin sheet Aluminum, Stainless, Inconel and Titanium

•Ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship in all tasks

•Complete the appropriate maintenance documentation records IAW company procedures

•Organise and evaluate repairs

•Ordering & progressing spares

•Follow company regulations and policies

•Assist with skills development of staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics

•Carry out any additional tasks allocated by management

•Knowledge and use of tools/equipment required to perform assigned job related tasks is mandatory

•Experience in general sheet metal work/tinsmith would be advantageous

•Experience of inspecting components & compiling work packs desirable but not essential

•Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval

•Must have or be willing to work towards gaining CAA welders approval

•Ability to interpret engineering drawings

•Excellent spoken and written English is essential

•Willing to work shifts
