Job Title: Structural Mechanic I
Job Type: Full Time; Consultant
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $21.21 per hour

Position Purpose:
Join a dynamic and collaborative team where you will play a key role in the structural assembly process for aircraft production. Under moderate supervision, you will perform a range of structural assembly operations to ensure quality and precision in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Highlights:

  • Hands-on experience in structural assembly with tools like pneumatic drills, riveting guns, and reamers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: 1 year of structural assembly experience required, with preference for candidates experienced with Solumina and Smarteam. Graduates of Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive a 1-year experience credit.

  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints and work orders, interpret scales, perform basic math, and work with composite resins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, ensuring all parts meet quality standards.

  • Operate a variety of tools to perform riveting, drilling, and assembly tasks.

  • Read blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine operation sequences.

  • Ensure all work is completed to quality standards before final inspection.

  • Maintain records and logs such as MIR sheets and PCOs.

Pay Details: $21.21 per hour
