As an A&P mechanic, you will work on the entire aircraft and effectively troubleshoot our customers’ fleet of A4 Skyhawk aircraft. Maintenance Technicians are responsible to the Director of Maintenance and shall ensure that the procedure outlined in FAA Regulations and manufacturer’s instructions are complied with. In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on corporate jet aircraft. Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position. In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the A&P. The A&P is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution.
You will also:
- Troubleshoot all aircraft systems.
- Responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner.
- Able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time.
- Ensure that all applicable forms utilized are properly completed.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Ensure good housekeeping rules are observed and that all shop-working areas are always kept clean and orderly.
- Some travel may be required.
