Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services, or simply called KAMS, is one of Ryanairs technical support bases in Europe, located at Kaunas airport, Lithuania. Our daily task is to perform technical maintenance and repair for 2 Boeing 737-800 aircraft which are serviced in our 4 hangars. KAMS goal is to provide highest level of services and ensure Ryanair passengers fly safely.
Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 3,300 daily flights from over 90 bases, connecting 230 destinations in over 37 countries and operating a fleet of over 570 Boeing 737 aircraft.
There are several workshops in KAMS, employees of which are supporting aircraft maintenance by inspecting, repairing, manufacturing various aircraft components and releasing them for usage in maintenance.
- Composite Workshop – inspecting and repairing components made from fiber glass, carbon fiber, aramid fiber or bonded aluminum, mainly components composed of laminated plies or sandwich structures.
- Airstairs Workshop – staff are performing full inspection, functional testing and fault isolation on aircraft stairs.
- Avionics Workshop – repair of various aircraft equipment components, such as water heaters, ovens, winglet light testing, fault isolation and recharging aircraft oxygen bottles.
- Machine-shop Workshop – manufacturing parts from aviation grade aluminum, steel, titanium using conventional machining method.
- Sheet Metal Workshop – repair of components made of metal structure, such as inlet cowls, engine fan cowls, stabilizers, slats.
- Small Component Workshop – repairing and modifying various airstairs components such as airstairs treads, handrails, carriages, additionally performing structural repairs on the airstairs.
Position based in Kaunas, Lithuania.
- Repair of aircraft components using riveting and metal forming and/or bonding techniques, and in accordance with technical manuals and drawings.
- Assembly of components by riveting, pressing, bolting.
- Inspection of components before and after repair.
- Completion of repair work documents.
- Working with computer programs: AMOS, MyBoeingFleet, MS Office.
- Trainings/work in other Ryanair bases in Europe.
Requirements - Technical education/experience or experience working in aircraft maintenance organizations – is an advantage.
- Self-motivation, to be able to work without direct supervision.
- Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Good English skills (both written and oral).
- Good computer literacy.
- Willing to do shift work 07:00 - 19:00.
