Ryanair is currently recruiting for an AOG Materials Manager to join our Materials Team here at Europes Largest Airline Group.

Our Materials Team is responsible for the purchasing, warranty, repair control and logistics of all aircraft parts for our fleet of over 550 Boeing 737-800, 737-8200 and A320 aircraft.

Working proactively in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain process for urgent maintenance needs, ensuring parts and materials are readily available to minimise aircraft downtime. This role focuses on efficient materials management and swift logistical coordination to support the airlines operational continuity.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Manage and lead the Duty Materials team, coordinating all urgent requests to minimise aircraft downtime.
  • Coordinate materials support to address unplanned maintenance.
  • Work closely with internal supply chain teams and external suppliers to ensure high priority parts are identified, sourced and dispatched effectively.
  • Collaboration with other departments to optimise material flow.
  • Assisting with customs processing and clearance requests to ensure the timely delivery of aircraft AOG parts.
  • Prepate regular reports on AOG Incidents, costs and parts usage for senior management.
  • Ensure that processes are documented,a nd the team is trained on best practices/procedures.
  • Providing Logistics support for materials tooling associated with AOG Support.
  • Supporting our Maintenance Control Operation as required.
  • Assisting in controlling our costs.
  • Accomplish other such duties as may be required to support our operations.
Requirements&013;
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experience desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Aviation parts management.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations related to parts sourcing and transport.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work on own intiative.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in AMOS and MS Office.
