Synopsis

Accountable for the geographic region to deliver Etihad Cargo tonnage and revenue targets, while ensuring the correct delivery of operational KPIs. Designs and implements a robust commercial strategy. Delivers the targets in a systematic and dynamic way making sure that objectives are placed, driven, and rewarded to create a high-performance culture within the EY, GSA, CSP and GHA teams.

Accountabilities
  • Fully accountable for maximizing volumes with optimum revenue through achieving and surpassing overall Market revenue budgets. Drive monthly performance against agreed revenue and operating targets, while also taking into consideration contribution metrics.
  • Responsible for setting targets, challenging customer, product mix and destination mix to achieve optimum quality revenue. Measure progress and monitor results in key areas of region’s business.
  • Challenge commercial teams on empty positions and pricing gaps on specific lanes and develop recovery and improvement plans.
  • Lead seasonal contract negotiations and allotments, as well as project cargo requests to optimize overall contribution.
  • Deliver commercial overhaul objectives by aligning activities in the country/region. Deliver customer segmentation objectives and support the global key account development program by strengthening relationships with customers at country/ Area and regional level.
  • Support operations and work with stakeholders to achieve joint key objectives. Develop and maintain relations with authorities and/or government entities to ensure smooth processing and handling of Cargo product and services. Identify opportunities, and potential blocks and plan strategy to overcome any regional resistance.

Implement Regionally Network and Revenue Management strategies such as allotment right-sizing to improve the revenue and profitability from the regions considering and anticipating market seasonality, competition, and market conditions. Review markets and their trends, to assess the changing demands. Support headquarter decision making through evolving business developments and market intelligence to leverage opportunities

Education & Experience

              Bachelor’s degree in Business management or similar discipline

•            5-8 years airline experience, driving and delivering business objectives through best practices.
