The Campus Director of Education is primarily responsible for maintaining the educational integrity of our Airframe & Powerplant programs, focusing on curriculum, instructor development, and institutional improvement. This role ensures that all instruction and faculty training adhere to guidelines set by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), state departments of education, FAA, and other regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Act as the liaison between the campus and corporate program directors
- Audit curricula to ensure current syllabi, lesson plans, and textbooks are used
- Perform semi-annual instructor performance audits and classroom observations
- Substitute as an instructor when needed
- Create and maintain Faculty Personnel Reports (FPR)
- Facilitate initial and ongoing instructor training per ACCSC standards
- Chair Program Coordinator meetings and manage meeting minutes
- Organize and facilitate Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings, ensuring minutes are reviewed and distributed
- Perform other education-related duties as requested by the School Director
