PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Capture Manager III is responsible for identifying opportunities and managing all activities necessary to transform qualified opportunities into wins.

  • Create and execute strategies that lead to the successful identification, pursuit, capture, and execution of new business.
  • Develop capture strategy, internal and external teaming, marketing efforts, and executive engagement plan.
  • Lead all group-level capture efforts to include proposals, RFI/SS responses, whitepapers, etc. from cradle-to-grave.
  • Lead capture to establish overall solution strategies, themes and strengths that clearly differentiate us from other potential offerors.
  • Lead capture by developing, shaping, and positioning to further iterate and validate solutions with customer initiatives and requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate win strategy development including technical, management, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing, etc.
  • Develop (with technical and SME support) solutions for opportunities; managing relationships with partners and corporate staff for proposed solution development; participating in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, win themes and discriminators, and proposal reviews.
  • Serve as the proposal manager in the event YHL proposal managers are tasked on other efforts.
  • Author or assist in the authoring of Management, Past Performance, Technical, Cost and/or other proposal volumes, while assuring that YHL submittals are compliant to US Government and commercial statements of work and solicitations.
  • In concert with YHL Finance and Subsidiary Pricing and Technical Teams, develop BOEs and pricing strategies to capture work and increase company profitability.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions.

Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Strong mastery of strategic capture processes with the ability to develop strong technical and management responses.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing across various levels of customer and internal organizations, from technicians to the C-Suite, and demonstrated ability to effectively persuade through technical presentation
  • Ability to manage and consolidate proposal inputs from diverse contributors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related business development and capture experience working with an array of DoD and OGA customers
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software and solutions, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience in gathering necessary intel from industry days/job walks to lead the development of basis of estimate and other proposal inputs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Deltek products preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

  • Operational experience with an ANC 8(a) company as a Project or Program Manager focusing on Civil Engineering, Base Operations, Facilities Management, or Range Management
  • Knowledge of competitors in the Base and Range Operations & Maintenance market space and experience in competitive assessment.
  • Proven experience in the Capture Management of Base Operations to include processes and protocols from opportunity identification through contract award
