You excel at evaluating and prioritizing business and technology requests into actionable initiatives and guide the team on translating this work into OKRS (Objectives and Key Results). Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the business to gather requirements, create use cases, and construct value propositions that accurately capture the opportunity, risk, and value of data issues
  • Practice data governance evangelism by developing a strong steward community across the business and creating opportunities to connect governance with day-to-day activities for our business partners
  • Deliver targeted communications through multiple channels that clearly articulate the value, status, and potential of data governance projects and how they align with established data governance goals and that of the broader business
  • Drive the data governance enablement roadmap by guiding the development of quarterly OKRS
  • Support the data governance team through creation and quality assurance of data governance content delivered through the governance platform, ensuring that all content meets our brand standards.
  • Strategically engages in business and technology initiatives and issues to anticipate the potential governance needs
  • Demonstrates a risk, privacy, and safety mindset when evaluating data governance initiatives
  • Strategic leadership of one or more advanced data governance initiatives
  • Engages in external industry and best-practice forums on data governance, data quality and metadata management
  • Reviews existing data governance framework to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Identifies, documents, and communicates impact of change to relevant stakeholders throughout the enterprise
  • Facilitates workshops to educate business partners about best practices for data governance
  • Supports Legal, Compliance, and Cyber Security with annual assessments, acting as a subject matter expert on the NetJets data governance approach
  • Partners with technology and the business to support master data management initiatives
  • Leverages conceptual, logical, and physical modeling experience to support enterprise data architecture initiatives
  • Takes lead on data projects with data sensitive context and/or privacy and security concerns
  • Leads data governance council cross-functional team to address and resolve data issues escalated from the data stewards and technology teams
  • Will on occasion be tasked to lead executive presentations in place of the Data Governance Director
  • May lead master data management and data architecture projects, supporting the technology and the business on strategic data initiatives

  • Able to work cross-functionally at varying degrees of leadership in the business to build adoption and influence stakeholders for driving data governance in the organization
  • Ability to drive accountability and decisions across business and technical teams through collaboration, consensus building, persuasion, influence, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience designing, executing, and improving processes and illustrating their effectiveness through measurable outputs
