The Deputy Value Stream Leader - F135 Development is the deputy program manager and Value Stream Leader (VSL) lead for our new product introduction (NPI) programs along with supporting our Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) and Component Improvement Program (CIP) value stream leaders with add-on sub-programs. This individual will also support business capture/proposals, Agile and CMS integration and robustness.
The role collaborates with the cross-functional Collins Management System (CMS) F135 development team including Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, Sustainment, Afterspanet, Engineering, Quality and Leadership. They deliver outstanding customer satisfaction through ensuring we meet technical, schedule, and budget requirements to standard work at the highest quality level.
This role has high visibility as part of the growing military development program office team. The leadership behaviors most important for the role are Customer Focus, Communications, and Focusing on Results.
What You Will Do
- Program manager for F135 new component introduction programs (NPI) as well as supporting Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) and Component Improvement Program (CIP) value stream leaders with add-on sub-programs
- Ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets across programs as integral member of the Value Stream
- Support F135 ECU L5 Value Stream Profit and Loss, maximizing sales, revenues, and margins
- Support development of Collins Management System (CMS) gate reviews and Integrated Program Management Plans (IPMPs) across the F135 Development Value Stream
- Prepare and communicate value stream reviews, internal Collins and customer reviews
- Interface with supply base to assist integrated product teams on critical issues
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer
- Project management experience, PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Full Criteria EVMS
- Demonstrated experience with change and risk management
- Agile certification or experience

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
