We want to investigate which technologies add value to accelerate the KLM processes and improve products for our customers. That’s why we have BlueLabs. To act as a ‘radar’ for technological developments that are known in the outside world but are not yet used or are used to a limited extent at KLM.
At BlueLabs, we experiment with new technologies to accelerate KLM and improve our customer products, thus empowering our colleagues and enabling more intelligent solutions. We aim to inspire and innovate with the latest technologies and work in co-creation towards new services and processes for KLM operational and commercial departments. These innovations can be anything from augmented reality to improvements in hybrid working environments. After a successful match, we focus to embed these technologies with the business in their domain.
You will join the leadership team of KLM’s technical innovation department: BlueLabs. You will report directly to the VP Technology & Technical Innovation. Your jobs is really hands-on to take the lead in getting KLM to experiment and scale new technology, and includes HR responsibilities to a group of innovators in your care. The selection process may involve a pitch, one or more interviews, preparatory questions and a case study.
Our adventures can take you across KLM, but our home is centrally located at Schiphol East in Building 102. From the top floor we have inspirational views on airside. Parking, public transport and other services are all nearby. You will find yourself at the heart of KLM’s technology-driven innovation in a superfluid environment where great flexibility and entrepreneurship are required to cope with the dynamics of our environment and stay successful.
