Job Summary: The position of the Business Development Manager is responsible for business development and growth of Key Accounts within the North American Region, as well as daily maintenance including but not limited to: market research, formal quoting, contract negotiations & pricing, inventory sales, and daily customer interaction. The Business Development Manager ensures that we exceed customer needs and provides a high level of value to the customer, ensuring that the optimum AerSale expectations are being achieved while maintaining and developing current and future accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic plans with Senior Director of Sales regarding future sales and growth.

• Act as primary contact and representative for the customer.

• Provide clear, timely, responsive and detailed quotations to the assigned customer base. This required that the Key Account Manager be always available, including weekends and after hours, to communicate with customers when required.

• Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues.

• Communicate with customers to manage their delivery priorities.

• Participate and help price contracts and proposals.

• Communicate new assets to promote our MRO divisions.

• Maintain open two-way communication with customer appropriately sharing both good and bad news.

• Provide timely quotes.

• Act on behalf of AerSale Customer Service & Business Development.

• Assist Business Development Manager & Sr. Management in development and implementation of field and marketing activities, capture of new business opportunities, and the management of target accounts.

• Coordinate sales and marketing activities with Senior Director of Sales, Business Managers, Product Managers, and Account Managers.

• Represent AerSale in a professional, innovative, positive, pro-active manner.

• Work with customers to forecast their upcoming requirements.

• Utilize price discrimination principles to gauge price/product optimization for both AerSale and the customer.

• Responsible for preparing monthly financial and various detailed analyses.

• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

• Experience in industry environment focusing on customer relationships, accounting practices, sales and/or marketing.

• Previous aviation experience including contracts within the industry.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be multi-task/project oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industry meeting established timeline.

• Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills are required to interact with all functional levels of internal and external contacts.

• Detail orientated and organized.

• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs. (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Able and willing to generate various types of reports.

• Willing to maintain availability via phone/email outside of regular working hours.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking to make judgement calls.

• Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.

• Must be able to use hands and arms or repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.

• May occasionally be required to list and carry up to 10 lbs. (standard for office roles)
