Division Maintenance Repair & Operations Manager
We are seeking a Division Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Manager to support all production facilities within Parker Aerospace’s Exotic Metals Forming Division. As a key member of the division leadership team and reporting to the division general manager, the MRO will work collaboratively with leaders and team members at all levels of the organization to develop, implement and optimize the division maintenance strategies to include risk management, asset inventory, corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance, asset information management and performance measurements to continuously improve asset reliability.
Essential Functions:
Safety
- Collaborate with division EHS manager and division strategy to Responsible to champion a safe work culture
- Serve as the champion for safe completion of work at facilities, through scope planning, execution, and training of personnel
Cost
- Accountable for establishing the fiscal year maintenance budget and monitoring spending
- Develop the maintenance expense and capital long term strategic plan
- Approve and appropriately allocate (expense vs. capital) all major maintenance spending
- Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of major and routine maintenance spending
- Develop and deliver division capital spending strategy
People
- Drive consistency in the execution of maintenance activities across the division to complement business objectives
- Responsible for direct supervision of division maintenance supervisors
- Ensure the consistent use of maintenance systems, including budgeting and forecasting tools, and resource scheduling
- Collaborate with division HR manager to recruit, engage, develop, and retain maintenance technicians to support reliable division operations
Maintenance Coordination
- Ensure 24/7 availability to addressing critical downtime
- Provide or resource the vital technical skills to prevent unscheduled downtime
- Actively drive resolution to technical problems in real time, including scheduling meetings and collaborating with functional support resources such as engineering
- Identify and resolve systemic division maintenance issues
- Initiate and ensure completion of improvement projects
- Identify and develop regional contractors for division support
- Develop and deliver maintenance training plan for all team members
- Operationalize preventive maintenance program
- Coordinate and ensure success of division critical spares strategy
Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in a technical field or business is required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in maintenance, engineering and/or operations
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical technical knowledge
- Proven track record of maintenance excellence in Safety, Reliability, Quality, and Customer Service
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of project management
- Experience with a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) such as SAP or similar system
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate a part of cross-functional teams to develop division maintenance strategy including capital spending and critical spares
- Excellent critical thinker and problem solver with demonstrated track record of using failure analysis (RCFA) techniques to ensure deliberate and continuous improvement
- Must be able to travel up to 25
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,240-$227,982.
