Job Description SummaryThe Lynn Executive Quality Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across Lynn Operations. The person in this role will lead the quality organization across the Lynn campus and will partner with Lynn site leadership and Quality leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Owner of Zero-Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for the Lynn operations.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Engineering, and Supply Chain on Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities.
  • Champion the Lean Transformation Lynn Quality operations, providing subject matter expertise on methods and tools such as Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement.
  • Partner with customer teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience.
  • Drive advanced quality tool maturation in Lynn in both new product release and in mature program process modernization initiatives.

Organizational

  • Lead a large team of quality professionals across multiple plants.
  • Work closely with horizontal team in supply chain, programs, customer teams, and extended quality organization to drive proactive and preventative quality actions across the enterprise.
  • Coach/mentor direct team and extended team in problem solving and process improvement on an ongoing basis.

Operational

  • Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in delivered and in process quality.
  • Lead and coach root cause and corrective action investigation across teams.
  • Drive adherence to NPI tollgates and quality deliverables associated with programs.
  • Maintain strong regulatory compliance and quality system compliance across sites.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
  • Minimum 3 years in People Management
  • Ability to travel – 15
