Job Title: Flight Maintenance Engineer Supervisor

Department: Maintenance

Reports To:   FME Manager

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  1. Ensure Flight Maintenance Engineers (FME) comply with all company policy and procedures.
  2. Ensure FME maintain accurate FAK inventory and tooling on each airplane.
  3. Coordinate/direct FME scheduler/assistant to ensure correct personnel assignments
  4. Travel with FME to conduct evaluation and training assessments.
  5. Coordinate and perform formal training and OJT respectively
  6. Provide direct liaison with international maintenance providers
  7. Work with MX Control, MX Planning and Line Stations to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements are completed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 7 years 747 aircraft maintenance experience

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certificate

Individual must be organized and able to work with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Must have US Passport

Must be a US Citizen

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
