SUMMARY:

A key leadership position within the site finance team that will use critical thinking, financial analysis, and communication skills to apply accounting theory and knowledge to improve business metrics and support cost, quality, and delivery success of the site. The Manager will possess strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in order to meet aggressive deadlines. Experience in team building, collaboration and consensus building across functions (Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Sales and Division/PCC) is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in managing Ravenswood financial department and serve on extended leadership team for site.
Actively identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities throughout TIMET.
Responsibility for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the operation’s financial statements.
Responsibility for maintaining an effective Cost accounting system and Financial reporting structure.
Accountable for balance sheet analysis including provision calculations and reconciliations.
Operational policy controls and implementation as directed by PCC corporate or division management.
Develop and lead the forecasting and budgeting process including coordination with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams.
Prepare and organize operational review materials including monthly and quarterly reporting and on-site visits.
Administer systems and policies to effectively measure financial and operational performance.
Manage long and short-range operational planning and performance measurement, including, profit planning, expense budgeting, asset utilization, cost standards, savings opportunities, capital investing and labor tracking.
Prepare specialized reports as needed by operations, division, and corporate management.

Demonstrated track record of success and growth in progressive within a complex manufacturing environment (primary metals manufacturing preferred).
Strong managerial presence that reflects a “hands-on”, participative, pro-active operating style.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BS in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
Minimum 5+ years financial experience in progressively responsible positions within global, multi-site/cultural manufacturing organizations, a demonstrated track record of accountability and achievement.
Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory, application of financial principles (GAAP) & Standard Cost Accounting.
Knowledge and experience managing financial operations in a global, multi-site environment.
Demonstrated track record of financial control and analysis within a complex manufacturing environment (primary metals manufacturing preferred).
Experience working with SAP/SyteLine preferred
Strong managerial presence that reflects a “hands-on”, participative, pro-active operating style.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Strong analytical skills required.
Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory, application of financial principles (GAAP) & Standard Cost Accounting.
Liaison with auditors including internal, external and SOX audits.
Project management background is highly beneficial.
Strong accounting skills and understanding is required.
Must be very detailed oriented and flexible within an ever-changing environment.
Excellent PC computer skills with advanced Excel spreadsheet experience, required.
Excellent communication; strong planning and organization skills.
