Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring Cirrus buildings, grounds, and infrastructure is safe, well maintained, and secure. Directs and coordinates activities around preparing work orders and directing the workflow to maintain equipment & production operations. This position will report to the Facilities Director and coordinate facility work schedules within the Duluth & Knoxville facility teams. Provide a safe work environment for the team and oversee processes in place to assure a seamless run rate for the production teams. This is a full-time position day shift (schedule 6am- 2:30pm or 8am to 5pm) M-Fri and minimal on call as required to maintain 24-7 operations.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Ensures all safety standards and policies are met. Conducts regular observations for safety compliance and corrects unsafe acts and conditions within and external to our buildings.
  • Review production schedule and resolves equipment operational issues that come up to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Supervising mechanical and building maintenance teams including, scheduling, hiring, performance management & employee development.
  • Day to Day Facility team scheduling and work order completion within Asset Essentials
  • Monitor with BMS and control temperature and humidity equipment to maintain bonding compliance standards.
  • Provide tracking and reporting within the Asset Essential management system, for PMs Work Orders and timely completion of Technicians work.
  • Responsible for delivering clear and concise communication in a timely manner to technicians and supervisor. Communicates company vision and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Attention to detail required. Must be able to work as part of a team, Hands on working Management. Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times. Applies the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety)
  • Flexibility in job tasks is a must for this position due to quickly changing priorities.
  • Ensure all parts for Program Managers and general maintenance are in stock on the shelf ready for use.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Qualifications.

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills required for project management and PM scheduling within Asset Essential Facilities software.
  • Seven years recent experience in leadership of people and projects of all sizes
  • Leadership experience required; formal training strongly preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including completing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • General knowledge of HVAC, VRF, Chiller and manufacturing equipment maintenance & operations
  • Knowledge of industrial building operations
  • Strong trouble shooting skills to assess Buildings, Production Equipment, HVAC & MUA to provide guidance to team members or sub-contractors in order to quickly address problems reducing potential downtime.
  • Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
