Job Description
Survival Flight is accepting resumes for a full-time Field Maintenance Manager position to be based in Batesville, Arkansas. The Field Maintenance Manager is responsible for administering and directing aircraft maintenance activities and Aviation Mechanics for Survival Flight to comply with FAA and Part 135 air carrier requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure the airworthiness of all aircraft and the reliability of all maintenance functions and personnel
- Plan aviation maintenance goals and activities by evaluating and assessing current and future needs for assigned territory
- Ensure all maintenance is documented in accordance with Survival Flight policy and the Federal Aviation Regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of an Aviation Science trade or vocational school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Two years of helicopter EMS experience
- Two years of experience with Bell 407
- Experience with Bell 206L4
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Intermediate computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, Internet Explorer, and email
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Aviation
- Inspection Authorization Certificate
- Three to five years of experience working for an EMS helicopter program
- Three to five years of supervisory experience
