Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Quality Products & Services Managers (Level K) to support the Fabrication Quality Team in Portland, Oregon.
Come join our Boeing Quality leadership family in Portland, Oregon which is part of the fabrication division. We are looking for individuals who can help us achieve next level quality. The factory environment is a machining operation with high precision, high complex aircraft parts that feed production lines in Puget Sound and South Carolina factories. These QA manager positions are highly technical in nature using geometric dimensioning & tolerance, ability to read precision drawings is preferred but not required. Position Responsibilities
- Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 3+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams in quality or manufacturing. (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent.)
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
- Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Experience in quality leadership
- Experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: 115,600 - 156,400
