Delta Air Lines is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work on the Crew IT team, a pivotal function in Deltas operations team with a focus on our Crew Salesforce intergration. This is an exciting role offering the chance to improve operational efficiencies for our business teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and provide production support for critical enterprise applications.
  • Tech-Lead & Sr Dev responsibilities for squad working with onsite and offshore team
  • Accurately estimate deliverable timelines
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional code.
  • Write and automate unit, integration, incremental User Stories and e2e tests.
  • Work closely with Business stakeholders for Inflight Services, Flight Ops, and Onboard Services.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with other systems using APIs, web services, and other ETL tools.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • 7+ years’ of hands-on development experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect.
  • 7+ years of hands-on development experience in a professional capacity using SQL, PL/SQL, J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, HTML5, Angular, APIs, Oracle, and expanding into NoSQL databas and Tibco (or Mulesoft/CastIron).

    • Data Architect
    • Sharing and Visibility Architect
    • Application Architect
    • Developer
    • Admin
    • Platform App Builder
  • Experience as a team tech lead
  • Experience defining and maintaining accountability to Architectural Design Patterns and serving as a technology domain’s escalation point.
  • Experience building deployment packages.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Orgs
  • Hands on Development and Exposure to AWS Cloud Technologies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results,
  • Available and responsive to question, clarifications, and instructions
  • Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels
  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams.
  • Outstanding written communication skills/ Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
  • A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or 5+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS and setting up DevOps pipelines.
  • AWS Certification is a plus.
  • Experience building computer software within the airline industry is a plus.
  • DevOps and/or automation experience in code testing, building, and deployment a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Messaging for In-App and Web (MIAW)
