Airbus Helicopters is the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer and the company’s site at Oxford Airport is Britain’s civil helicopter hub.

AHUK offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support.  Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.

AHUK is the MoD’s chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its No. 1 Flying Training School (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).

Description/Overall purpose of the Job

To manage a transparent and legally compliant full-cycle recruitment process. You will manage multiple hiring and competing demands for positions in various country locations.

You will work in partnership with hiring managers to attract talent and a diverse workforce that will support our international sites.  Specifically this includes sourcing, selection, collecting and collating all hiring documentation, including Right to Work, conducting background checks, negotiating offers and managing the resume database and Roster. 

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisational culture and ensuring the success of our expansion. You will be a seasoned HR professional with a global mindset, a deep understanding of international HR practices, and a good understanding of international employment laws.

  • Provide expertise and support to relevant line managers to ensure that all people management activities throughout the recruitment process are performed in an appropriate and professional manner.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven International Internal Recruiting Experience with experience demonstrated success in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across global markets.

  • Previous experience in managing end-to-end internal recruitment processes on an international scale, including a track record of successfully placing candidates within diverse cultural and geographical contexts.

  • In depth knowledge of international labour laws and regulations.

  • Organised and capable for recruiting for high volume and for niche roles for all business areas.

  • Must have the confidence to challenge and influence key business decision-makers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • High levels of attention to detail and discretion, in consideration of the contractual and confidential nature of the work.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into strategies.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, preferably with experience of communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with diverse professional and academic backgrounds.

Education, Qualifications or Training

Essential 

  • Experience working as a HR Business Partner  

  • CIPD level 5 or above  qualified (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong IT skills and proficient in use of ‘Google suite’ (Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google forms, Google sites etc.)

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal (Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders).

  • Proven experience implementing and delivering projects.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks

  • Strong working knowledge and experience of maintaining HR Information systems.

  • Contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of the organisation, Code of Conduct, ethics and promote Airbus values

Desirable 

  • Experience as a HRBP, with a record of success in international setting is desirable

  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Full cycle talent recruitment experience within a Global Organisation 

  • Proven experience in International recruitment

Additional requirements 

  • Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance. 

  • Applicants must meet any/all requirements of Export Compliance Regulations.

  • Ability to travel and stay away overnight occasionally is required for events.
