Description:Lockheed Martin (LM) Space is searching for the IT Operations Manager our Strategic Reentry Programs (SRP). This program leads the design, development and sustainment of the Reentry systems for the US Navy and Force partners.
As the Strategic Reentry IT Operations Manager the successful candidate will manage and lead IT activities to include Infrastructure, Applications, New Technology Implementation program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirement. They manage company and third party vendors as well as assure that an integrated software and hardware solution is provided to meet customers need. Responsible for coordinating
subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ Years of experience leading people, projects,
teams, etc and total experience of 12 years or more.
• Demonstrated Leadership Capabilities
• Experienced in leading and managing
requirements and processes
• Knowledge of and experience with IT solutions and
IT resource personnel.
• Understanding of and experience with leading
Infrastructure, Applications, and Cybersecurity teams
and projects.
• Program Management and IT Integration skills (i.e.,
Infrastructure, Applications or Cybersecurity)
• Past performance & execution to cost (Control
Account Management /Earned Value), schedule,
technical & risk management.
* Active TS or higher clearance at time of
application
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle from new business
pursuit to contract closure.
• Highly motivated and able to prioritize and integrate
multiple projects.
• Information Security: Demonstrated experience with
risk analysis and related business decision processes,
Strong understanding of information security trends
and current industry focus areas, Technical experience
with vulnerability management, normal
infrastructure/perimeter protections, information
security best practices.
• Experience with DFARS, Risk Management
Framework, and DIACAP.
• Experience with Data and Predictive Analytics.
• Experience with Cloud based IT
Solutions/Architectures.
• Demonstrated skills in Business Transformation and
Process Improvement.
• Understanding of the Hypersonic Strike Programs,
Corporate and Enterprise IT policies and initiatives.
• Experience working with classified and controlled
unclassified information.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience supporting remote sites.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
