Tasks

As a Key Account Manager for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients across various industries. Your primary goal will be to maximize revenue and profitability through strategic account management, ensuring client satisfaction & retention.

  • Definition and coordination of new target customers within relevant industries and markets in cooperation with regional sales units
  • Collection of industry specific customer requirements to further enhance transport solutions for the particular industries
  • Expand business relationships within existing customer association
  • Industry research & development of Industry Strategy
  • Create (industry specific) tailormade solutions for existing & strategic accounts
  • Prepare, schedule and realize customer visits (onsite & virtual)
  • Participate in marketing and customer events (e.g. conferences, exhibitions, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years proven experience in sales, freight forwading or supply chain management, preferably in the Asia Pacific region
  • Strong understanding of the business landscape and cultural nuances across various APAC markets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must possess a valid work permit and a valid residence permit
