Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking a Team Lead to support the Logistics and Production Control (LPC) team of the Trident Integrated Support Facility (ISF) in Pittsfield, MA. This position will work in a leadership role as the LPC Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) and participate in the day-to-day support activities of a depot level repair facility. This position shall be expected and take part in planning and coordinating factory operations in a manufacturing/repair facility for precision aerospace hardware.

What You Will Do

  • Leadership – Implementation of a strong leadership philosophy that results in exceptional customer satisfaction as well as talent development and retention for Raytheon personnel.
  • Customer Interface – Liaison for daily customer interaction across a multi-contractor organization operating under rigorous requirements.  Routine presentations to senior customer management.
  • Inter-organization Coordination – Fosters collaboration and teamwork across multiple functions, contractors, government agencies, and customer sites to achieve program goals.  The ability to establish teaming relationships is key to success.
  • Hiring Manager – Author/Reviewer for new requisitions for the LPC team, interface to HR and Talent Acquisition, and lead interviewer.  Primary for hiring, performance development, and other personnel actions.
  • Preparation, coordination, and oversight of personnel performing Acceptance Packages for customer review.
  • Perform impact analysis for Engineering Change Requests.
  • Inventory Management for government owned material.
  • Management of Program Record Retention.
  • Configuration Management for hardware, software, and documentation.
  • LPC Point of Contact for internal, external, and government audits.

What You Will Learn

  • Coordination of a multi-functional team to execute schedule goals.
  • Creation, maintenance, and management of production schedule.
  • Training management for LPC functions.
  • Define scope of work and secure customer concurrence for incoming hardware.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement efforts for LPC.
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action Lead for audit findings or process issues.
  • Oral presentation to senior management and customer personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience. Experience in lieu of education can be substituted.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience managing in a DOD-related manufacturing, repair, or depot operations.
  • Experience with engineering processes that relate to manufacturing, design, and support.
  • Experience managing projects, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Shall have strong communication skills, written and oral, and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with manufacturing, repair, or depot operations.
  • Strong presentation skills that are readily tailored to audiences at any level; from production personnel to senior customer/government management.
  • Ability to interface with persons of multiple disciplines and job functions, including software engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, program managers, production personnel, and outside vendors.
  • Existing ACTIVE Secret Clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
