JOB SUMMARY:

The Aviation Records Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all LFN aviation data is recorded and maintained in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures. The position is the company point of contact for logbook and electronic record keeping system related questions. The Aviation Records Supervisor will be available after normal working hours to assist Field Mechanics and Pilots with aviation documentation and electronic record keeping system related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree or Airframe and Power Plant Licenses preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years recording keeping and/or equivalent administrative experience in the aviation industry with CFR 135 background
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office proficiency
  • Previous supervisory experience of multiple employees
  • Expert level knowledge of both paper and electronic aircraft logbooks and maintenance records
  • Expert level knowledge of aircraft record keeping requirements and knowledge of

Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Experience with aviation electronic recordkeeping system(s): account management, aircraft configuration, life limited parts, and maintenance activity documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and work independently or with a team
  • Acute attention to detail and self-motivated with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance
  • Able to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area. Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile in good repair, provide proof of auto insurance and meet LFN’s Driver’s Policy requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Ensures accurate filing systems, maintains hard copies of aircraft flight logs and maintenance documents
  • Maintains aircraft records, maintenance data and flight data in accordance with FAA regulations and company policy
  • Screens aircraft and engine maintenance log pages to ensure compliance with current regulation and manufacturer maintenance programs
  • Monitors the use and accuracy of the LFN’s electronic record keeping system
  • Intimate knowledge of LFN’s electronic record keeping system to be able to configure aircraft,  build maintenance programs and troubleshoot all user issues in the system
  • Be a point of contact between electronic record keeping software company and LFN for issues that arise
  • Assist with conformity of aircraft to add to the 135 certificate by reviewing all previous records, building the aircraft and maintenance program in the electronic record keeping system
  • Assure all aircraft MEL’s and AD’s are accurately tracking in the electronic record keeping system and posted to the aircraft log book
  • Act as liaison with multiple leasing companies providing monthly reports, overseeing annual audits and aircraft lease returns
  • Supervises Records Department employees, participates in the recruiting, employee evaluation and corrective action process
  • Prioritizes daily tasks and responds to emergent needs
  • Is available after hours for technical support of LFN’s electronic aviation record keeping system
  • Performs periodic and scheduled records audit for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepares standard and recurring reports and obtains data from files or data bases as requested
  • Performs administrative and clerical duties as required
  • Assist with after normal business hour documentation issues as they arise

Salary Range: 85,000.00 - 95,000.00
