Profiling data, gathering business requirements, and defining data cleansing and transformation strategies. Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop, launch, refine, and scale master data programs and activities. Implement processes and governance to ensure data integrity, data standards and change management and the integrity of the master data.   The salary or hourly wage range of $94,000- $158,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to an individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.   Master Data Management   • Work closely with all levels of the organization including: presenting to educate the business on master data issues and opportunities, communicating the impact on complex integrated business processes, and establishing the master data quality metrics and targets.   • Work with the business unit representatives (finance, supply chain, marketing, etc.) and IT to set strategic master data direction that will enable strategy and to resolve issues with respect to master data and ensure master data aligns with overall business unit objectives.   • Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the data quality, processes and standards for master data domains.      Data Governance   • Directs the management of Item/Product Master Data Management (MDM) from origination into Oracle EBS throughout data lifecycles, including policy formulation and policy adherence, data change management quality assurance, and enabling business process optimization.   • Work closely with all levels of the organization to educate the business on MDM issues and opportunities, the impact on complex integrated business processes, and to establish the master data quality metrics and targets   • Responsible for tracking and improving data across the company and to ensure the trustworthiness of enterprise data for the defined business need.   • Accountabilities include ensuring compliance with the stage gate process for master data requests and monitoring data quality and fitness for the purpose of demonstrating measurable benefits of data management to lines of business, business processes, and systems   • Designing and executing strategy aligned with Business Unit objectives to achieve optimized level of process efficiency and effectiveness through standard master data measures, objectives and metrics   • Maintaining integrity of data through standardized governance procedures, continuous data cleansing and process automation.   • Leads projects and testing to support IT and internal process/technology improvement in the respective area      Management/Leadership   • Directing day to day leadership of the master data management team and processes.   • Lead the development and activities of a staff of Master Data analysts, including Career Development, training and day-to-day execution of tasks. Oversee staff and maintain the proper balance of skills and business knowledge, while encouraging open communication and cross-functional sharing of information and requirements.      Process Improvement   • Support continuous improvement activities and participate as a key member of PAC Master Data Management team   • Lead complex problem-solving activities to define problems, assess current state root causes, design and test solutions, and implement solutions leading to desired outcomes.   • Develop and drive awareness of the Master Data Standards and ERP functionality through interaction using a cross functional department approach with other team members in the Operations group   • Contribute to the conceptual design, communication and implementation of procedures, processes, tools and applications as related to new and existing business information systems as they relate to master data management.      What were looking for:   • A bachelor’s degree or 7-10 yrs. equivalent work experience in manufacturing environment. Aviation and Electronics experience preferred.  • 5 years of data management experience in manufacturing environment.  • APICS (American Production Inventory Control Society) Professional Certification preferred.  • Technical and functional experience with business information systems including project planning and deployment using ERP/MRP system.  • Understanding of Item Master and Bill of Material modules, engineering configuration control processes, and Product Data Management (PDM) system functionality.  • Thorough understanding of the data management systems functionality and the system integration of data from various user groups including, Sales, Customer Service, Product Line, Production and Material Planning, Manufacturing, Order  • Management and Engineering.  • Experience with Oracle Applications Master Data is preferable.  • Demonstrated record of leading a successful Master Data Management Group.  • Broad business acumen, project management, planning experience with technical expertise in business information systems, preferable Oracle.  • Ability to demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide seamless customer service.  • Proficient in MS Office software applications.  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written correspondence with Executive Management, demonstrated excellence at written and verbal communication in a multi-cultural environment.  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.  • Ability to interact with internal departments such as Engineering, Accounting, Program Management, Quality, Marketing, Global Repair Services and inter-company Production to keep company abreast of important key issues as the relate to the supply chain executive council.  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills based on strong functional and technical know-how, as well as solid master data knowledge and organizational skills are critical.         Our Principles:   Contribution to Society Fairness & Honesty Cooperation & Team Spirit Untiring Effort for Improvement Courtesy & Humility Adaptability Gratitude   What we offer:   At Panasonic Avionics Corporation we realize the most important aspects in leading our industry are the bright minds behind everything we do. Paid time off: Exempt Salaried employees receive unlimited PTO. This means that there is no fixed number, range, or limit to the amount of Personal and Vacation Days that may be taken for exempt employees. Non-exempt hourly employees accrue 14 vacation days per year + 7 sick days + 3 personal days. Accrual rate increases with tenure. All employees receive 11 company paid holidays per year. We also close our offices at the corporate level in the U.S. between Christmas and New Year. For operational positions that are expected to work on holidays, we provide additional compensation for hours worked.
