Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for the HIMARS program. Our team is responsible for making sure all materials are at the right place at the right time to produce end products for our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing production systems integrity and driving inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Developing integrated operating plans.
• Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership experience with demonstrated performance driving continuous improvement with MRP/ERP.
• Experience in one or more of the following with a fundamental understanding of all aspects of Production Planning and Control including; Master Production Scheduling, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Material Flow control.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple functions (these include Program management, production operations, quality, global supply chain, and engineering).
• Must have the ability to obtain a US Government issued Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• SAP Knowledge and Experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained/certified
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Knowledge of industry-wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout a production supply chain.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
