Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO.

This position supports the F-15 Program and help to drive clear alignment and engagement through on-site support to the Operations team working with multiple functions and the Supply Chain team.

Position Responsibilities – Mid-Level 3:

  • Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
  • Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
  • Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Develops mitigation plans.
  • Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.
  • Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.
  • Set up PRIME-R/PRDB Instance
  • Drive data accuracy and provide sort code integration into PRIME-R/PRDB
  • Raw material analysis for long-lead material
  • Analyze raw material requirements and establish panstock baseline
  • Coordinate BFM procurements from procurement through delivery to end-item supplier
  • Track and support special part fabrication (i.e. tooling, raw material, and supply chain development)
  • Generates PRE-MRP forecasts for supply chain development prior to engineering release
  • Group parts into work packages for streamlined procurement strategy
  • Evaluate engineering release dates vs need dates to prioritize packages needing to solicited ahead of final engineering to support program schedule
  • Track on-time PR placement and PC delivery dates to support program delivery needs

  • Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience in program management within supplier management.
  • More than 3 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Mid-Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid-Level 3: $88,400 - $109,200

Summary pay range Experienced Level 4: $102,850 - $127,050
