As the Manufacturing Associate Manager for F-35 Wing Systems in Fort Worth, TX, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding the production build team through leadership, mentoring, and strategic resource management. Reporting to the F-35 production leadership, you will manage day-to-day operations to ensure the timely and quality completion of production goals, driving efficiency and enhancing team performance.

What You Will Be Doing
• Lead and Develop: Oversee and develop a team of First Line Leader supervisors, focusing on skill enhancement, mentorship, and effective task coordination.
• Resource Management: Coordinate manpower resources and ensure alignment of skill sets with production demands to meet daily and long-term goals.
• Plan and Schedule: Support daily crew planning and task scheduling to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production timelines.
• Drive Performance and Accountability: Utilize business metrics (cost, schedule, quality) to assess team performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Administer HR Responsibilities: Conduct performance assessments, manage employee recognition and disciplinary actions, and foster a supportive and accountable team environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• Manufacturing Experience: Background in aircraft and/or aerospace manufacturing production in a professional environment.
• Leadership Skills: Experience managing a team and coordinating manpower in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Performance Metrics: Familiarity with using business metrics (cost, schedule, quality) to drive and assess performance.
Desired Skills:
• Aerospace Expertise: Direct experience with F-35 or similar aerospace production.
• Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles for process and efficiency improvement.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify production issues and implement effective solutions. • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.
• Previous development experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
