Airbus Helicopters is looking for a People and Workplace Security Manager (f/m) to join our Corporate Secretary Department based in Marignane, France.

Accountabilities

  • The AH People and Workplace Security Manager assists the Head of AH People and Workplace Security in establishing and assuring of all consistency of the People and Workplace Security body in accordance with both Airbus and Airbus Helicopters security Policies, Directives and Standards; and in compliance with applicable National Laws and regulatory requirements on all Airbus Helicopters’ footprint.

  • The AH People and Workplace Security Manager provides support to the Head of AH People and Workplace Security in leading and managing:

    • The Airbus Helicopters’ People and Workplace Security Management plan which is deployed throughout all the Airbus Helicopters’ footprint covering, as a “Follow-the-Sun” model, around 47 affiliates, 136 sites in 32 countries, including main countries as France,Germany and Spain.

    • The Travel Security Management program that covers more than 145 countries where Airbus Helicopters employees could be deployed in order to support our customers.

Your challenges:

Acting on behalf of and under the authority of the Head of AH People and Workplace Security, the AH People and Workplace Security Manager will carry out the following activities as and when required :

  • Participate in the definition, development, deployment, management, maintenance, check and review of physical and travel security strategies, policies, directives, procedures and standards, implementation and operation.

  • Participate in the implementation of the Physical and Travel Security Strategy encompassing tools, resources, suppliers, technologies, planning, contingency planning, and awareness.

  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight of People and Workplace Security and cascade information and directives to Airbus Helicopters Security Network and to the appropriate level in Airbus Security organization, as required.

  • Ensure compliance with the national/local/state law and regulations, and adapt Security Management Plan accordingly.

  • Participation in the identification of threats and risks specific to the Airbus Helicopters environment and the implementation of appropriate controls to address vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure that all security incidents are properly addressed and reported to the appropriate level.

  • Collate all People and Workplace security-related information and establish a reporting protocol to ensure the impacts from security incidents at Division level are appropriately assessed; and mitigation measures and corrective actions implemented.

  • Regularly communicate with management and employees relating to security and provide support on security policies and directives.

  • Ensure the deployment of security awareness campaigns at the Division level and; participate actively in the development and raising of security awareness in collaboration with Airbus Security team.

  • Plan all training needs to ensure that all security staff at the Airbus Helicopters’ People and Workplace Security network level have the appropriate skills and competencies to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.

  • Provide support and resources for compliance activities managed by Airbus security audit team, such as audits and self-assessments.

  • Knowledge of security physical management practices, methodologies and tools.

  • Knowledge of project management practices, methodologies and tools.

  • Knowledge of Airbus global organisation and AH security standards and policies.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and strategic thinking skills.

  • Adaptable, innovative and detail oriented.

  • Disciplined to solve complex problems, with the ability to resolve issues and drive solutions that create win-win situations.

  • Ability to manage multiple sites across Airbus Helicopters’ worldwide footprint dealing with all sectors of business management levels.

  • Effective, versatile and results-oriented leadership and project management skills.

  • Ability to research and stay current on applicable national regulations, industry best practices as it relates to the nuances of each Airbus Helicopters’ location.


Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Expected linguistic capabilities:

  • English B2 is required, English C1 appreciated.

  • Other linguistic capabilities as German or Spanish are optional.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including an ability to use tact and diplomacy with people at all levels to get actions accomplished

Travel Required:

10-20 Domestic and Europe

5 International outside Europe

Citizenship:

Must be authorized to work in the France

Must be authorized to have a security clearance (France MoD)

On duty required:

Based on the role and associated missions, the AH People and Workplace Security Manager is considered on duty and can be contacted after working hours or during non-working days.
