The Plant Manager is responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating plant operations. This position will report directly to the VP and General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a safe and clean plant in keeping with EHS/6S initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and standard of products is maintained.
  • Ensure the manufacturing operation accomplishes Safety, Quality, Output and Cost performance.
  • Provide direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to assure all manufacturing objectives are met. Monitor production schedules and processes, ensuring key activities are accomplished daily.
  • Ensure adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions.
  • Manage performance productivity and hold accountability for that performance.
  • Manage daily /weekly product reporting on all metrics, make presentations and communicate with all levels of the organization as necessary pertaining to plant manufacturing activities.
  • Develop a presence on the shop floor and working relationship with all employees that allows for a positive work culture and high engagement while ensuring staffing, skills and training support business objectives.
  • Lead plant teams which include hiring, performance evaluations, and talent development to ensure workforce meets plant objectives.
  • Works closely with Quality, Sales and Engineering departments to assist in resolving customer issues and technical problems pertaining to product quality, delivery and other technical concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and corporate colleagues at all levels.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Four-year degree in a related field of study (e.g. Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing Management).
  • Minimum of 7 years of operations management experience, preferably in a machining manufacturing environment
  • Previous project management experience

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $153700 to $230500 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 35 of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company’s performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
The position will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Long-Term Incentive Program
