In this role you will be responsible for consolidating, leveraging the Daily Shop Management process, the Avio Aero Quality Mindset, based and focused on Lean and Continuous Improvement and for developing and deploying the ‘Zero Defect’ Culture, in accordance with the corporate strategy. You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
Provide leadership to Quality organization in managing Product Quality and Process Compliance;
Direct general process / product improvement programs and provide guidance and method rigor throughout the organization;
Lead technical efforts in manage customer disruptions, inventory control, manufacturing losses,
Provide technical leadership on problem identification and generation of counter measures on all issues related to product improvement and conformity and process improvement and compliance;
Select, hire, train, and provide ongoing leadership on assigned personnel to meet organizational goals;
Manage organizations cost and investment projects;
Flight deck approach to drive plant quality Improvements;
Promote a working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality and EHS;
Report to all organization on quality KPI Interface with all company functions (design engineering, mfg engineering, vendors, etc) to assure requirements are met according applicable specifications;
Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution in driving improvements in product quality and services;
Ensure all Quality functions are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively;
Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet customers requirements for product quality, cost and delivery;
Drive growth and change management in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering/ Material Science;
Significant experience in manufacturing/ product quality to provide leadership to cross-functional teams
Proven leadership and team-building skills;
Fluent in both polish and English;
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of machining/assembly/test processes;
Aviation experience;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Proven analytical abilities;
Lean six sigma experience (GB or BB)
