Description:The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Integrated Fighter Group (F-16) Upgrades Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our dynamic team and support the New Business processes for a portfolio of Foreign Military Sales contracts.

This person will:

Act as the Process Owner for F-16 Upgrades New Business, to include ROMs, NTEs, Firm proposals, REAs, FEAs, EPRs, Special Studies, and O&A requests, to ensure functional support teams are aligned and deadlines are defined and met;

Work directly with the respective Program Managers to identify program risks to proposed schedule and cost, and to facilitate development of associated mitigation steps;

Drive realism into proposed program schedule and cost, aligning with program risks;

Continuously evaluate the F-16 Upgrades New Business process for process improvement;

Define performance baseline and establish goals for the F-16 Upgrades New Business process;

Create and maintain enduring relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate timely and transparent communications concerning the proposal process;

Exercise initiative and work in an independent manner as often as possible. Think outside the box.

Enable the implementation of Start Green, Stay Green principles
Basic Qualifications:
Familiarity with different contracting types and CLIN structures ((e.g. Cost Plus (CP), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) , Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Special Studies, Over & Above))

Experience with basic Earned Value terms and concepts

Experience with LM Aeronautics proposal process and tools

Prior execution responsibility of project schedule and cost
Desired Skills:
Contracting experience, familiarity with Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) and Aeronautics Proposal Tracking System (APTS)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

Minimum of five years supporting defense contracts in an execution, program management, planning, contracting, or similar capacity

Familiarity with the LM Aeronautics proposal process

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

Control Account Manager experience

Team lead, experienced in generation and delivery of effective presentations to leadership

Analytical thinking, risk analysis and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills; effective in a dynamic team environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
