Description:The PAC-3 Performance Improvement Area has an immediate need for a Program Manager to lead the PAC-3 Missile Segment Resilience (MSR) 2020 program. MSR 2020 is an ongoing contract responsible for the development and fielding of advanced capabilities and improvements to both missile and ground system components of the PAC-3 Missile Segment. MSR 2020 has a planned Period of Performance through 2025 with a follow-on contract expected. The selected candidate will be required to coordinate extensively with the USG Army customer, subcontractor (Boeing), PATRIOT System Integrator (Raytheon) and numerous internal adjacent programs.

Major MSR 2020 deliverables and activities include;
• System Engineering studies evaluating performance improvement concepts and algorithms where those studies will influence future development efforts.
• Tactical software design, development, integration and test supporting flight test events, missile production and worldwide fielding activities.
• Buildup and test of a PAC-3 Software Development Lab test bed to support missile software development.

Responsibilities Include:
• Work closely with the Performance Improvement Program Management Staff, Chief Engineers and PAC-3 IPT Leads to ensure successful execution of contractual requirements, on schedule and within cost targets
• Interface with all functional teams to realize program goals
• Establish program milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions
• Participate in the development of cost estimates that are complete and executable
• Provide a direct, trustworthy, and official line of communication between LM and the US Army Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD) Project Office to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of information relating to program status and issues
• Effectively lead internal and customer weekly IPT meetings to ensure it runs smoothly, status is conveyed, and action items are taken, assigned, worked, and closed
• Maintain an awareness of all current development and facilitate discussion between functions
• Understand and communicate issues to the program and customer and its impact to the program commitments
• Manage how each issue will be addressed in conjunction with Program Management and work with other program team leads (PAC-3 Software Task (P3ST), Guam Defense System, (GDS), Flight Test, etc.) to determine how the information will be presented
• Primary program interface to support:
o IPT meeting Lead (both program-customer meetings and program-system integrator-customer meetings)
o Engineering Document Review / Approval
o Risk and Opportunity Board Participant – Identify and coordinate cross-function program risks and opportunities as part of the risk and opportunity management board
o System Engineering & Integration Review and Systems/Software IPR Participant
o Quarterly Lockheed/USG Strategy Reviews

• Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
