Core Responsibilities:
- Organize team member assignments with division leadership
- Oversee team project execution from identification through kick-off, execution and closure
- Measure and report project deliverables, schedule and financial status
- Own internal and external customer communications and relationship management for assigned projects
- Coordinate resources and activities with project stakeholders including but not limited to engineering, quality, operations, materials, finance, contracts, customer service outside vendors, customers and other Barnes divisions
- Create and sustain project management standard work methods and tools
Qualifications:
- Five or more years experience in project leadership
- Proficiency in defining project scope, deliverables and schedule management
- Experience navigating a complex organization to ensure success of projects with evolving needs
- Proficiency in project software management (Mindview, MS Project)
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Strong computer and data analysis skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Education Requirements:- BS Degree in related engineering or business discipline desirable, or equivalent experience
- Ideal candidate has program/project management certification with experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering and new product introduction
