Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Project Management Specialist in Maryland Heights, MO.  As scrum master, you will be responsible for ensuring the development teams have clear assignments to support documentation and maintaining architecture, defining requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for F-15 USAF/FMS mission planning software systems. Your assigned team(s) develops and maintains software code and integrates software components into a fully functional mission planning system. Your team also develops software verification plans, test procedures, test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting tests results to ensure software system requirements are met. Performs software project oversight and software supplier management functions. Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software tools and metrics. Executes and documents software research and development projects. Works under general direction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily scrum meetings ensuring impediments are addressed and team is on-track to meet established delivery goals.  
  • Facilitate PI planning by: creating plans, coordinate with other teams, define team objectives and ensure PI objectives understood by all.
  • Lead the team through: backlog refinement, planning, coordinating daily team tasks and lead retrospective.
  • Creates/maintain team Kanban board.
  • Ensure healthy team: encourage, coach, foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Understands stakeholder requirements and priorities.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of software development/testing
  • Understanding of SAFe® Agile Processes
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
  • 5+ years’ experience with Project/program management

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).
