STS Technical Services is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager / Sales professional to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves micro-managing several custom projects, allocating resources, monitoring project flow, and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, construction management, and possess strong project management skills. This position focuses on managing processes rather than people and requires dedication to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple custom projects, aligning with daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
- Allocate resources based on workflow changes and prevent bottlenecks.
- Monitor long lead-time items that could impact project delivery.
- Follow up on incoming products and inventory for future projects.
- Physically inspect custom items and review engineering drawings in advance.
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:
- Ability to create and discuss Pareto Charts.
- Experience in manufacturing business or construction management.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
- Project Management Certification.
Time Allocation:
- 65: Micro-managing schedule/production changes.
- 15: Resource management.
- 10: Checking future project items.
- 5: Setting up the following day/week.
- 2.5: Sales, scheduling, and shipping interactions.
- 2.5: Micro meetings and daily huddles.
Programs:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
