Services Project Manager

Join our team at Atlas Elektronik UK as a Services Project Manager, where you&8217;ll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of Project Management for a dedicated portfolio of related non-core projects within the Services Division. You&8217;ll work closely with the In-Service Support Managers, Programme, Operations, and Waterfront Leads, directly accountable to the Programme Lead for delivery outputs. This role has become available due to our commitment to enhancing customer relationships and identifying areas for current and future contract growth.
As a Services Project Manager, you&8217;ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day coordination and implementation of programme management activities for In-Service/CLS Projects. Your key responsibilities include ensuring the achievement of project KPIs, maintaining enduring customer relationships, and identifying opportunities for contract growth. You&8217;ll lead diverse teams, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered to challenging timescales, budgets, and requirements. With proficiency in MS Office tools, you&8217;ll provide timely reports and escalation to management on project progress and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of Project Management for a dedicated portfolio of related non-core projects
- Collaborating closely with In-Service Support Managers, Programme, Operations, and Waterfront Leads
- Maintaining enduring customer relationships and identifying areas for current/future contract growth
- Managing significant value projects to challenging timescales, budgets, and requirements
- Ensuring appropriate risk, opportunity, security, and quality management for projects
- Providing timely reports and escalation to management on project progress and performance
- Leading diverse teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and delivery-focused, with experience in successfully delivering complex technical products within a project environment. You should possess knowledge and experience of In-Service Support, CLS/ILS processes and procedures, along with excellent organisational and leadership skills. Experience in managing significant value projects and domain experience in the defence business or a recognized high-end technical industry is preferred. You should be commercially astute with excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideally, you should hold a degree in Engineering or Business discipline and have formal PM qualifications or experience in delivering complex projects, particularly in a Services environment.
