The Propulsion Systems Manager monitors aircraft propulsion system performance to identify adverse trends, performs root cause analyses and develops corrective actions; ensures compliance with the reliability aspects of the FAA required Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) program for all propulsion system operations and performance, providing relevant reports and presentations for routine CASS Meetings; serves as focal point for Engine Condition Monitoring Program (ECMP) advisories and subsequent dispositions; optimizes aircraft engine scheduled inspection and maintenance programs to ensure maximum on-wing performance, while minimizing related direct operating costs; provides guidance for direct report(s) as necessary to develop analytic and corrective action skillsets.
